Project Description

Support for populations affected by development work on the Tsièmé River takes the Population Ressetelment Action Plan (RAP) already established to national standards and brings it into line with international standards. The project has already led to the development of a socio-economic survey mechanism, a database structure, the definition of complaint management mechanisms and a stakeholder engagement plan.

The services provided under this second phase of intervention (subject of a rider) consist of :

• Drafting of the RAP document in line with international standards
• Drafting of the RAP document in line with international standards
• Delivery of the georeferenced database of people affected by the project (PAP)

The Urban and Social Project Management (MOUS) mission of assistance to the Direction Générale des Transports Terrestres (DGCT) enables the implementation of the RAP thanks to the following support:

• Support for the negotiation of relocation agreements
• Support for vulnerable families in developing income-generating activities (IGA)
• Support for the project owner in monitoring the implementation of the RAP and the release of land rights
• Social mediation and conflict prevention
