Project Description

Preparation of feasibility studies for the construction of a market, a bus station and a solar-powered public lighting system in the city of Foumbot, Cameroon.

• Conducted a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of existing infrastructure, as well as the socio-economic, financial and environmental context of the project area.
• Carried out surveys, stakeholder consultations and focus group discussions within the existing market and bus station.
• Developed and assessed several development scenarios for the proposed infrastructure, including institutional arrangements, tariff analysis and environmental and social considerations.
• Produced preliminary technical designs and conceptual layouts for the future market, bus station and public lighting infrastructure.
